It should therefore also all standard plug-ins and skins which work for CVS to develop images in Merlin2-Excalibur Image.

The artwork, such as load screens, and of course all of Merlin's skins are designed by vali.

In short, the technical data of the image:

Enigma2 from 14.11.2009
Plugins updated 14/11/2009
Drivers from 29.10.2009 (800/8000) and 05.11. 2009 (7025)

It is part of the USB kernel patch, so use of a BA (Barry Allen) should not preclude, but this is largely untested.

Enigma2 changes to the CVS by us are:

* Skin.py,
* Volume_py,
* Wrap_around (skin independent wrap arround in all menus)
* Cross-epg patch

The following extensions / plugins are already included in the image:

* Portmap nfs-utils

Samba is not included in the images, but can be installed as needed by using Addon Manager (package samba server) online.

With DreamCC of the DMM can be developed dccamd start and stop. However, we offer on-dreambox emulators to tools.info neither, nor do we provide support for them.

For plugins, skins, among other things Programs, we have an online feed.

Following our release of Merlin Excalibur E2 images for the Dreamboxen 7025, 800 and 8000 is now the next step forward in the development of our E2 Images.
We want to officially our new Merlin Excalibur E2 images) based on the new OE 1.6 (new kernel release, for the Dreamboxen 500HD, 800 and 8000.
In addition, there are also still the same fresh, new image for the Dreambox 7025, based on OE 1.5 available (OE 1.6, there are not as well known for the 7025).

The features of the Merlin Excalibur E2 images here have not changed significantly, once again the following technical data:

Now, some important organizational information, please read this carefully!

* The new Merlin Excalibur E2 Images, with the exception of are 7025, not einspielbar via a software update, the images must be re-flashed complete!
* Our software / addon Feed for the Merlin Excalibur Images OE medium term will be approximately 1.5 for a month online, then it is switched off and then runs only the OE 1.6 feed.
The exception is the above mentioned reasons, of course, the Dreambox 7025th
* Multi-Boot for the new image of us is not tested, the appropriate kernel drivers are not included in the image.

Hier kommt wieder ein aktuelles CVS Image aus dem Enigma² experimental zweig.

dieses image ist in zwei versionen verfügbar: lean und full. das lean ist 31,3 mb, das full 53 mb gross.
alles was im lean entfernt wurde, kann über den plugin-download nachinstalliert und auch wieder deinstalliert! werden
die full-version enthält alle aufgeführten plugins sowie benötige libs und ist für alle gedacht, die ihre box nicht online haben
diese können natürlich alle plugins deinstallieren, die sie nicht benötigen.

Samba ist in den Images nicht enthalten, kann aber bei Bedarf mittels AddonManager (Paket sambaserver) Online nach installiert werden.

Mit DreamCC kann man den von DMM entwickelten dccamd starten und stoppen. Wir bieten jedoch auf dreambox-tools.info weder Emulatoren an, noch geben wir Support dafür.


Nun einige wichtige Hinweise organisatorischer Art, bitte lest diese sorgfältig durch!

* Die neuen Merlin Excalibur E2 Images, mit Ausnahme der 7025, sind nicht über ein Software Update einspielbar, die Images müssen komplett neu geflasht werden!
* Unser Software/Addon Feed für die Merlin Excalibur Images OE 1.5 wird mittelfristig etwa noch einen Monat Online sein, danach wird er abgeschalten und es läuft dann nur noch der OE 1.6 Feed.
Die Ausnahme hierbei bildet aus oben genannten Gründen natürlich die Dreambox 7025.* Multiboot für die neuen Images ist von uns nicht getestet, die entsprechenden Kernel Treiber sind jedoch in den Images enthalten.
